Alanya Castle

Make sure to plan ahead to visit Alanya Castle. You can start the tour by visiting Kızılkule, Alanya Shipyard and Tophane in the port area. Another suggestion is that if you go up to the castle by car, you can get off on foot. Above, Alanya Castle consists of three parts. These are İçkale, Ehmedek (Ortakale) and Outer Castle. Red Tower

The world-famous tourist center district of Antalya Province is one of the historical symbols of Alanya. It was built in the 13th century by the Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat. Its architect is the builder Abu Ali Reha el Kettani from Aleppo. Kızılkule port, which was built in an octagonal plan, was built to protect the shipyard and Alanya Castle against attacks from the sea. In one of the inscriptions on its outer surface, "Thanks to God" was written in the name of Alaaddin Keykubat and it was stated that the construction date was April 1226. The 33 meters high Kızılkule, limestone is used in the lower parts and red bricks in the upper parts. The red of these bricks gave the tower its name. With its striking interior structure, Kızılkule has five floors: ground floor, first floor, mezzanine, open floor and open terrace.

Alanya Archeology Museum

Alanya Archeology Museum is located in the center of Alanya. It is close to Damlataş Cave and very easy to reach. It has been renovated in recent years. It is a very beautiful museum with both garden arrangements and hall arrangements. The richness of the exhibits is another reason to visit. If you travel to Alanya, you should definitely visit it. The garden of the museum is arranged as an open exhibition; Roman period necropoleis were tried to be described with ostoteks (bone-ash storage box) peculiar to the region. Dim Stream

Various picnic areas, restaurants, and tea gardens at the edge of the tea serve tourism in the region starting from just below the Dim Dam, which is located on the Dim Stream, almost to the beach of Tosmur. In hot weather, sitting, eating and drinking tea on the platforms built on the cool waters of the tea create a different environment. The distance of the Dim Dam to Alanya center is approximately 16 km. The main road on the beach is 9 km away. Rafting is done on the part of Dim Creek above the dam. There is a junction of Dim Cave on the road leading to the dam. If you want to visit Dim Cave and watch the Dim Stream valley from a bird's eye view, you can use this road.

Dim Cave

Access to Dim Cave, which is 11 km away from Alanya center, is easy. Dim Cave can be reached from Alanya by asphalt roads from Kestel Town, Dim Çay valley and Tosmur Town. When you continue from the road opposite the entrance of Alanya Faculty of Management, this road goes directly to the cave when you continue from the left at the fork.Dim Cave is 232 m above sea level and is located on the western slope of Cebel Reis Mountain, which is 1691 m high. With the stalactites and stalagmites inside, the small lake offers a great visual feast to the travelers. There are 2 halls in the cave. The right side of the entrance is 50 m long, the left part is approximately 350 m long. There is a cool 18-19meyenC air inside the cave. It is operated by a private company. The company has made beautiful arrangements inside and outside the cave, and the environment is clean and well-kept.

Syedra Ancient City

It is located within the borders of Seki Village, 22 km away from Alanya town center. After the main road, a narrow asphalt road continues until about 1 km from the ancient city. You can park your car behind the old school. After that, the dirt road starts. However, it is possible to continue with an off-road vehicle (June 2016). It is necessary to climb more than 1 km from the dirt road. At this time, the works to arrange walking paths in the ancient city and to clean the scrub area continue. Alanya District Governorship supports all kinds of activities to put this area into the service of tourism. On the dirt road, it can become that normal vehicles can come out in time. Alara Stream
